MissionAlt‑Text Detective Agency

Welcome, Agent. Your mission is to figure out what’s going on in a “photo feed” using descriptions.

Goal: Notice the difference between images that have good alt text, images that are decorative, and images that are mysterious.

Replayability: The “mystery image description” changes each time you press the button.

Image Gallery

A simple graphic: a big red circle like a radar dot, and a label that says Snack Radar.
Example 1: Helpful alt text tells you what the image is.
A poster that reads: Lost Homework. Reward: one cookie.
Example 2: Alt text can include important text from the image.
Example 3: Decorative image (empty alt). VoiceOver may skip it or say less, depending on settings.
Mystery image. Use the button after this image to request a description.
Example 4: Mystery image. You’ll use a button to “request” a description.
